This story idea came about after using the street view on Google Maps to look at various places on Earth. I then thought it would be interesting to have a recently graduated teenager to travel the country and even the entire world.



I started in Madawaska, Maine as a starting point as I had thought it would be easier than starting in the middle of the country.



I do have a particular place of residence for her for where her parents live in Madawaska, from Trulia.com as that house was for sale at the time. I don't believe I will mention the house number itself (unless done so accidentally), except it is a large house on 11th Avenue just south of Alder Street.
